To Apply for Advanced Standing on the basis of prior study, you need to provide:
- Certified copy of official transcripts/results (Non-VU Students ONLY)
- Certified copy of letter completion or graduation certificate (if completed)

Copies of unit descriptions for those units that form the basis of claim for the credit.
These descriptions must include the unit content, number of class hours and assessment completed.
Please note that Advanced Standing applications for VET qualifications do not require unit descriptions.
